Yup, use it, good stuff, see if you can find it locally, I found it here from a grower who trucks it in for organic rose food. I saved the cost of shipping it in which is terrible....I paid 18$ for some great humic acid and 30$ to get it to my door from Texas........Ouch. and Im going to order some more.......Ouch.

Rob, contact these guys and see if they have a distributor in your area.

I found it at a local agricultural supply company in 50# bags...I add 100 lbs per year to 1000 sq. ft.

Thanks to Don Young who gave me this one. Comes in feed grade and can search local feed suppliers. Search for the state. Came up empty so far trying five miles from the house. LOL There are some people on the list I have talked to at Agricultural Fairs and will check with them next.

Found North American Kelp too. They are in Maine and a good choice. Will call them next. Thanks Glenn and I will check seedoutlet too. Thanks Hopeful.

Thanks everyone so far. Wiz, I may ask for the source to ship to Connecticut.

Rob,

We may arrange another club purchase. If not, Benedicts Agway in Monroe has it.

NoamKelp is in Maine. Cost was $49 to ship to CT. That is about the best I could find.

Go to your local feed store or coop, if you have one.

Rob,
Gee I would think it would be cheaper from CT, your alot closer to salt water that CO....Keep googling, eventually you will find one.....Also check out golf course AG supply companies they have almost everything except a 1068 seed.

A bag of Kelp shipped to me here in WI is $60 from Noam Kelp. That's a single bag total cost. $80 from Neptunes.

Getting there. Have a Coop in Manchester that is run by a neighbor who has a farm and possibly manure, yeeee haaaa. He is looking at Sealife for less than $48. Gave hime some other choices. Still working on it. It is becoming more popular with equine. Just need to find the one who has it. More to try. Got some for the fall.

Wiz, I would think so too but NOAMKELP is still 3 hrs from here and the rest are in Nova Scotia. Neptunes is $77 and out of the question. Too bad, they are 1.5 hrs from here.

NOAMKELP is some good stuff too, our source here said kelp meal went up in price again too we paid 52$ for 55lbs and I picked it up, but I havent been able to find Humic acid dry locally, I really do like the GreenSmiths and am wanting to see if shipping a pallet in would be cheaper.

Since kelp grows in salt water, do you have any problem with salt buildup in the soil from using kelp meal?
