A friend of mine uses this product on his Tomato garden. Its really expensive but he swears by it. It basically contains Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria. He foliar sprays a couple times during the plants early growth and then every once in a while tops off. Have any of yall heard of this product and what benefits does it actually have. He mixes regular Mycrofungize along with it. Just Curious

Lovely website! But no indication of which bacteria nor how much per $90 liter.

Here's one that I sell from PHC:

PFC Biopak

Guaranteed Analysis of Soil Amending Ingredients:

Rhizosphere Bacteria ................45 Billion cfu/Lb

7.5 Billion cfu/Lb (8.3 million cfu/cc) Bacillus licheniformis
7.5 Billion cfu/Lb (8.3 million cfu/cc) Bacillus megaterium
7.5 Billion cfu/Lb (8.3 million cfu/cc) Bacillus polymyxa
7.5 Billion cfu/Lb (8.3 million cfu/cc) Bacillus subtilis
7.5 Billion cfu/Lb (8.3 million cfu/cc) Bacillus thuringiensis
7.5 Billion cfu/Lb (8.3 million cfu/cc) Paenibacillus azotofixans

I'd love to do a "cost per CFU" comparison. LOL

Biopak is around $20 per dry pound which contains 45 billion CFUs (colony forming units).

Thanks for all the replys.. I was just curious and skeptical about that product. Its usually sold for hydroponics for lets say Tomatos if ya will. Yeah I have Dunkels on my Christmas list and hopefully my girlfriend will play Santa. John im definetly interested in James Spook juice recipe ill try to e-mail him if I can find his E-mail. Yeah Tremor 90 per liter seems high and it just seems like its more about marketing and not the actual product. Tremor your product definetly sounds interesting and in comparison way cheaper. Thanks again yall I was just a little curious.

Tremor, would a small amount of your product be good in compost tea, or would that be extreme over kill?

Kathyt,

A lot of compost tea users will add Biopak to their tea right before using it. They'll follow a classic Aerobic recipe & brew (which would not foster bacterial growth) then add the bacterial inoculant.

While bacterial inoculants are primarily intended for soil incorporation, a lot of research has been going into their use as foliar sprays. So far the results have been good.

TREMOR......YOU ARE ABSOUTLY WRONG! Quoting you..."
They will follow a classic Aerobic recipe & brew (which would not foster bacterial growth)......

Baloney baloney and more sales baloney not to mention a flat out lie.

Now I am out of here one more time. I'll check back in two more years to see if you may have self educated yourself to understanding what aerobic compost tea is and why it is used. As of this hour you do not. To bad too because you are a good sales and promotion person.
