As far as I know there isn't a difference. There is a big difference in humic acids though based on the extraction process used, and how much actual humic acids are in a product by %.

We're using 3 different humate products. One is 85% humic acids, another is 90% humic acids (both are powder form), and the last one is a liquid humate that is 10% humic acids and already chelated with 10 essential minerals for your plant. Hope this info. helps!

PS: You can read more about humates at http://simplici-tea.com/articles.htm or there is a book out on humates by a Dr. Senn that is purported to be excellent, though I haven't had time to pick up a copy myself.

Tad, You said that you are using three different humic acids and listed out the percentages, which powdered products are you using? Where do you purchase yours?

Thanks,

Don
