I have a gallon of neptunes fish/seaweed fertilizer that is 3 years old.

Is it still good to use?

What's to go bad? It might be "composted" a little bit which might make it even better.

If the bottle has been opened, the only thing I can think of that might contaminate it would be air-borne fungi. I cannot say whether they might be "good" or "bad" fungi...just a thought.

I am using a old bottle that I think might be over 5 years old. Most of my plants seem to like it like old wine. I only had one plant look bad, but that one has looked bad from the start.

I think Mr Don "1662" Young prefers using well aged Neptunes when available.

If it smells bad then I would NOT use it....LongBeard gave me some older fish and SW that before I went a mile I could tell why he stored it out side.....Phewwwwwwie......It chased the coyotes out of the patch......when I dumped in on the compost pile.......
