As a vine is growing, we add Micro to each leaf node where a root might or/and should form. A few questions.

1. I trench all my vines. Do I simply sprinkle it on the ground below the leaf node and cover over trech with dirt.
Or do I need to mix it in the soil, then backfill trench with the mixed dirt.

2. Whats the "timezone" of the Micro. Can I put the micro down say an hour before the vine reaches the spot where I put the Micro? A day ahead?. A week? Or does it need to go down right after the root node appears?

3. Water it in or leave it alone at first.

Thanks for any advice. You can email me at ghopson427@yahoo.com or simply post here.

First, it's not micro, its abbreviated myco which is short for mycorrhiza/micorrhizal fungus.

1. sprinkle under nodes, then bury

2. I don't see a problem with a day in advance, but I could be wrong. Any more than that and I would re-apply when you actually do the burying

3. just bury

Greg - have you found a good local place to buy myco? I've been using a Happy Frog fertilizer with myco but it is a little hard to use at times because of the fertilizer in it.

I have been using Hollands myco for the last couple of
years and have seen a significant improvement in the
root system when I dig up the roots at the end of the
season. Great product, Very friendly service....LB
