I was not completely satisfied with my soil test from last year. Does $45 sound too much for a test for all these elements? pH, percent organic matter (OM), phosphorous, potassium, calcium , magnesium, sulfur, iron, zinc, manganese, copper and boron.

A+L costs $27 for their S3C package, which includes pH, OM, N, P, K, S, Mg, iron, zinc, manganese, copper, boron, EC, CEC, % base saturations, and sodium. i like them.

bantam, make sure you make your soil study before the test otherwise you're wasting your money my soil is just plain dumb and studying doesn't seem to help but $45 is a bit steep andy w.'s price seems about right i've sent mine to spectrum analytic p.o. box 639 1087jamison rd.washingtonc.h.ohio 43160 i paid $25

We charge about $10-20 (depends on which elements are tested for) through one of the most respected commercial labs in the country. So that price does sound high. I think Chuck at CLC labs will also work directly with individuals. They're in Westerville, OH.

Getting the results accurately doesn't insure success. Good inturpretation & solid action are a must.

Quality fertilizers & soil amendments, accurately applied, at the correct time are essential.

Tom If you guys had not kicked the Bejesus out of Penn State this year I would have told you their basic soil test is under $10.00. Adding tests ups it about $3.00 per test.
...I live on the Northern edge of an extended Happy Valley so get reports back in about a week. If you send them one don't tell them where you live. :)
