There are so many factors here it staggers the imagination! Was the manure wet at regular intervals. was it ever stirred. were there additions to it. Best guess...if it was me I would add a couple pounds of it to a 5 gallon bucket of garden soil and plant a few vegetables in it and see how they do. I would not be in any hurry to add it to the garden as it may bring in many contamiants that would screw up the garden for years to come.

Manure can be contaminated with weed killers and runoff and may cause crops to fail. Recommendation is to compost the manure for three years where you know what if anyhing is going into the pile.

When I think of those who have disease in thier garden and how it affects thier pumpkin rearing I encourage caution!

ten year old manure is basically dirt plain and simple, over thinking an overlooked manure pile is more manure piled IMO
