Grow, my child!

I was wondering if different water amounts (inches of rain/water) and frequency are required for different pumpkin types.

I'm growing jack-o-lantern, Big Max, and Dill Atlantic.

Does the rule of 1-2 inches per week stand true for all pumpkin types?

yield will depend on it being 1 inch per week if possible

It will depend on your soil type, topography, etc. I grow on flat, gravel-based, well-drained soil. 1" of rainfall per week is adequate for me.

How about in 18-30 gallon containers (eith small holes drilled in the) filled with potting soil?
