I'm not sure how many people know about this but since I have tried and succeeded with it, I thought I would brag a little about it. It's called Quick Start, made by Miracle Gro and it aids in transplanting. It helps prevent transplant shock and with the roots. I've been using it for everything I transplant into the ground and it works great! I thought if any of you are skeptical or nervous when transplanting, it's worth a shot

I've always used Miracle Gro at about 1/2 strength.I did notice Quick Start at the store. I might try that next year.A freind of mine suggested a slow release fertilizer mixed in the mound before planting, we'll see how that works. Good Luck!
