I have been doing some reading trying to educate myself on making foliar applications of calcium. I have seen quite a few references to Nutri-Cal and Vigor-Cal, as well as their differences. My latest plant tissue test shows my nitrogen levels are pushing the upper limits of the acceptable range so I am hesitant to use Nutri-Cal because of the highly available source of nitrogen it provides. Is there a viable chelated alternative to Nutri-Cal that will give my plant the boost in calcium it needs without the nitrogen?

I have seen the Fert-All product that contains calcium chloride and citric acid (which is the chelating agent I assume??) but I don't know how mobile a calcium chrloride product is compared to a calcium carbonate product or something like the "complexed" calcium in Nutri-Cal.

What product would you use and why? Given my high N tissue test numbers, would you still use Nutri-Cal? Your thoughts are greatly appreciated.
