Have just read that hydrogen peroxide can be used to dechlorinate water. From what I can understand peroxide breaks down into water and oxygen when reacting with chlorine therefore oxygenating the water.
Does this have any use for Pumpkins? Any thoughts welcome.

There are comercially available dechlorinizing agents available for aquariums etc but why not just let the water naturally off gas or you could speed up the process by pumping air in.

Pickeringchris- Thanks for your reply. At the moment I have my water stored in drums to gass off/warm up.
I was just curious when I read it may oxygenate the water at the same time. I will take your suggestion and try pumping air into the drums to achieve a similar effect. Also I think any excess would harm the benificial microbes in the soil, I have since read peroxide can be used as a sterilizing agent.
