Suzy,

Foli-Cal is calcium acetate. A source of soluble calcium.
Nutri-Cal is a liquid solution of calcium nitrate.
Stop-It & Stoma-Feast are 2 types of calcium chloride solutions.

All are used commercially to supply calcium to plants (usually foliar) often in an effort to prevent blossom end rot.

Studies have proven their effectiveness. Calcium nitrate forms are the best by a small margin. These also supply small (6-7%N) ammounts of ammoniacal nitrogen.

Lime, gypsum, & Solucal are popular soil applied calcium preperations.

I sell several types of calcium including the dry Champion calcium nitrate (now regulated), Nutri-Cal is the best one we sell & the one I will be using. But I'm no Heavy Hitter yet. This is our first year with real AG seeds.
