Im pretty new at this so i could use some help with a fertilizing schedule. I worked in horse manure compost early on before planting along with 12-12-12 fertilizer. then a transplanting helping fert. Since then the only thing I've done is a fish emulsion foliar application every week and half to two weeks. My plants arent doing that bad but i think they could be doing better. What could i use to improve my plants? thanks

Punkinstein, look on our website www.extremepumpkinstore.com, on the left hand side under categories you will see a fertilizing program. This is just an example of what we do, you can get an idea of what other growers do.
As a new grower, I would ditch the miracle grow type fertilizers and give the plants liquid fish and seaweed.
You will need some type of fungicide and insecticide.
