My plants need a kick in the pants. The soil tests indicate I can fertilize, but I don't want to burn the plants. This is a combination of two liquid products, A) a 30 slow-release Nitrogren, and a 29-26, phosphite.

The plants have not been pollinated yet (I know, I'm late). Perhaps in the next 5 days if the weather cooperates.

Any thoughts?

If you plan on pollinating in the next five days I would strongly recommend keeping your fertilizing to a bare minimum, especially concerning nitrogen. Fertilizing during or around pollination time can cause aborts.

In past years, I would get inpatient and fertilize to jump start growth. The result would be major vine growth and splits. I would be careful with a 30-29-26, once it's on, it's done. I like fish, worm castings, etc.

During and right after fruit set is NOT the time to push. We can't arrive earlier by driving fast with the cops behind us.
