i got this drip line from john deer supply and it says 1 gph. Is that gph for each emitter or a certain lenght of line.

1 gallon per hour per emitter. Doesn't sound like a lot but multiply by 100 emitters and that is a lot of water.

Super slow connection to Rainbird's website for whatever reason. In any case, that rating should be per emitter. If you got the LDQ0812100 model, that would be 80 gallons per hour for the entire length (100 ft x 1 emitter/ft x 0.8 gph/emitter), if you got the LDQ0806100 model, the emitters are spaced every 6", so that would be 160 gal/hr for the 100 ft coil. Depends on the pressure and flow rate coming in, pressure losses in the coil, clogging, etc. It's not going to be exact. Good luck.
