What type of spacing does everyone use when looping back their soaker hoses? I think I was too wide at 2.5 feet. Does anyne use drip tape or what other methods do you like? I'm just trying together a budget now for my list of purchases this winter.

Thanks

I thought that the drip tape worked great. It is available at dripworks.com I spaced my tape at 16". I might go 14" next year.

Thanks Wally, I think I am sticking with the soaker, but I like the flow calculator on that site. I also did a bunch of backdated searching and found lots of good stuff on this subject.

Luke, seriously, last year you planted generic seeds from homers. This year you are going to try a real seed.

Last year you used soaker hose from homers. Give it up and get a real drip irrigation system this year.

You will love the t tape, and its really not that much money to get started. you can always add more if needed.

Are you knocking Lowes seeds? I grew the 124 Puricelli and the 96 Puricelli on that bad boy, and it is in high demand. Send me a bubble and I'll get you one ASAP. LOL

The wife and I are trying to buy a new house now and I have to prioritize my list of purchases. Backpack sprayer is #1 and I know the soaker hose isn't top of the line in terms of controlled irrigation, but it did a decent job.
