Is it too late to plant a cover crop? I'm in CT where the night temps are dipping into the mid to low 30's. If not too late, what should be planted?

If you get winter rye down fast you might be ok, you will have to put it down a little thicker. Not all of the seeds may germinate.

winter rye will germinate in cool weather, to speed up germination i rake it in water well and cover with large clear plastic sheets..
