I recently had a soil analysis done on our large and small gardens. The results showed very high levels of P1 (weak bray) and NaHCO3P yet the lab suggested we add 1 pound of phosphate per 1,000 sq ft. Can someone explain this to me?

We also need advice on adding iron to one garden and boron to another.

The results are posted on our diary.

Any other advice concerning our soil tests would be appreciated.

Thanks for the advice.

From what I've read the boron can be added with Borax. I've bought some from WalMart for a couple of bucks. I only needed a few teaspoons, so I keep the leftover supply as a laundry booster.

Marty, your available Phos, weak bray, can be high, but your reserves might be real low and require amending with additional phos.
