Ok I am sick of soaker hoses. The set up I have lets the majority of water out in the 1st 10 feet and it tapers off from there. I am looking at t tape/drip tube/emitters from dripworks and the irrigation direct web site.dripworks told me that the ground basically must be level for t tape to work. Thats a problem with one of my plants as its mounded over for the 1st 3 feet of vine so running perpendicular to teh main is out, i thought about runing parellel thereby avoiding teh hump. Then I came across several other comments here on BP about emitters and dripline. What will compensate the best for not perfectely level ground. thanks jeff

There are pressure compensating emmitters in some drip tape. those are the ones you need for non-level sites. I grow 16,000 strawberries, 1800 raspberries/ blackberries, and 800 blueberries in containers. each container gets an individual emitter on 1/4 inch feeder line conected to 1/2 inch PE lines. I get most of mine from Irrigation Direct, although I have purchaesd from A.M. Lenard and Farmtek as well. but I bought soaker hose for my pumpkins.
