the leaves on my plants have been wilting quite alot in the daytime and it was not even all that hot here yet. The plants are out of the cold frame now. Does this mean that there is too much water, or not enough?

the plant doesnt have enough roots to suport the size of the plant yet. i was always told when they wilt like that (when they are small) they are laying down roots.

so, perhaps water them occasionally with 15-30-15
Miracle-Gro to enhance the rooting, but not too much or too often because the plant'll get used to the goodies near the surface and not grow deeper roots for itself.

Mine wilted for a while too, every sunny day. But now they are bigger, and I've been using 15-30-15, and they don't wilt nearly as much. Keep them in check with mistings. They'll be fine once they get established; don't worry too much.
