We are a week away from the start of the two week ideal pollination zone (6/27 ~ 7/8).

Do you have female flowers in the growth cluster on the Main vine? Better do what you can to influence the girls to show up at the right time.

I was thinking the same thing this morning. I almost hit 'em with the 0-10-10, but I went with the 9-6-2 instead. The plants are looking great this year despite the weather. I hope to pollinate on time this year!

I started using 3-18-18 as soon as I started to see males form.

If I am low on Phos as I suspect and high on potassium, would you recommend using 0-10-0 bone meal or a bloombuster type with a much higher phos number? I'll get results of test hopefully by friday.

Luke, I wouldn't use bone meal that this time, I'd go with a foliar.

Hey allgood - I have a 1028 Holub going in my patch this year.

Haven't grown the giants for a few years, but having a great time so far.
Just need some consistent weather. July looks like the ticket! Good Luck ALL.
