Can you use Miracle Gro for tomatoes on pumpkins and watermelons?

Thanks

I've used it before,it has a different ratio than the regular miracle grow.Worked fine for me.

I'm surprised you haven't gotten more feedback. I'm a second year grower and I think most things in moderation are ok, but in this hobby moderation is typically not the norm.Ffrom what I've read, most growers steer away from miracle grow because it is high in salt and will build up in soil over time(pumpkins don't tolerate high salt). Have heard things go good to a point then they stall. extremepumpkin store has a lot of alternatives, and Tom is very helpful. Hopefully some more experienced growers will chime in here.

I've been growing for about 12 yrs and yeah if you totally drench the ground every 4-5 days you'll get salt build up,but using it a few times at a specific time of the growing period of the plant isn't going to hurt. You could use it with a combintion of other things.Or it just could be that it fits your budget.I just don't think it's a bad thing.

I found a bag of in my basement is why I asked.

I use it just once a month

I figured if I have might as well use it on my vegetables
