Hi,

Lots and lots of info regarding fertilising here in this section, but its a bit of a minefield to understand to a first time grower.

Can anyone recommend a good article on fertilising that gives the relevant NPK levels of said fertilisers, and at what stage of growth I should be applying them?

I'm in the UK, so certain "Brands" from across the pond will not be available here, hence my wanting to know NPK levels.

this might be a place to start for fertilizer NPK levels.
For a time frame for application (summarised from Don Langevin's How to Grow World Class Giant Pumpkins II) first four weeks after transplant heavier P fert. Next 5 weeks heavier N. Next 7 balanced fert. Next 4 heavy K. Last weeks let her ride with just seaweed.
How heavy you need the NPK levels to be will depend on your soil. Good luck!
