I bought this product a few yrs ago , But i wonder how good, or should i use it ? there's probably still 3 pounds! ok it says calcium...9.5% Chelating agent is EDTA...(ethylenediametetraacetic acid). Good for all crops Foliar applied or soil application ! Is this good to use on my Pumpkins? or should i use it up on other stuff like corn & tomatoes ? The label is gone on how much to apply ,Anyone know?

if it has EDTA, the plant won't be able to use the calcium. EDTA binds too tightly with it.

I burned the hell out of some of my leaves last year using the recommend tablespoon to a gall rate - and had the worst result on that plant for growth. The EDTA can be phytotoxic and nasty to the soil. Greenhouse hydroponic stuff seem to tolerate it being water fed...but I will never use it again.
