We have had at least 3" of rain in 2 days or so and I wanted to put some nutri-cal tonight and other ferts in the next couple of days. Is this smart to keep things going or should I hold off.
I do have a small main vine split near the pumpkin that is soft and I will dig that out and put a fan on it to let it heal. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks

?

ray...
there is a good chance that the pumpkin could split.
it is risky but if it were me, i would do one of the ferts until the plants sucked up some of the moisture.. just my opinion though..

don't add any more water if the soil is still wet. you don't have my drainage to do that, Ray, lol.

Hit them tomorrow night or saturday morning. If you're home and can time it just right, go at a higher rate, but less water just before the rain hits and it will get diluted.

Thanks everyone,
The plant decided for me. I went out last night and the main going out of the stem was starting to rot from 2 small cracks that have been there. Scooped out rot, put captan and fan on and tonight it seems to be healing.
Haven't been able to post pictures today due to software problem.
OTT on the 1725 is 330 and was still growing so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
