We sell this fertilizer as a dry granular material in a 50 lb bag. I'm curious what folks think of this as a finish. I know many choose to use solubles or even straight 0-0-60 Muriate of Potash (which can be pretty *HOT*) & I'm thinking this might serve even better.

The numbers sounds good, but the iron is not too high?

Steve I think the numbers look right too..but here again I have no clue on how to apply them...if it was a row crop I could see using granular but broadcasting fert on the surface and not being able to hoe it in would make me worried of proximity burn to the folliage...and I'm not walking in the "No Tread" zone now...just below the surface are tons of root hairs...other then taking a handful and diluting in water how is this done?? another urban gardener question...LOL

Chuck,

If I go this route (and I haven't decided), I'll broadcast the material all over. Everywhere. But only to dry plants. Then I'd agitate the leaves a little with my hand held blower or by hand. This will dislodge any granules from contact with the stalks or ffoliage. Then run a full irrigation cycle.

I have already made the mistake of cultivating too close (for weeds & compaction) to the plants & ripped up those white beauties. Never again.
