Just wondering what the ideal ph of irrigation water should be.I have just changed my water source for the next season`from chlorinated town water with a ph of 7.2 to dam water with a ph of 5.5-6. Would I need to alter the water or leave as is? i will also use this water for spraying, foliar and teas.Any help is greatly appreciated.

the more dam water the better (sorry it had to be said).

maintain your soil pH in the right range with lime or sulpher and keep good organic matter levels and the buffering capacity will compensate for the water.
