My patch is on a slope (approx. 25-30 degrees). I water with 100 feet of soaker hose. Obviously, the water runs down hill. Wondering if I should water every day (that it doesn't rain). Any ideas for watering on a slope?? Is it possible to overwater?

25-30°.....are you sure? That is a very steep slope!

A slope that severe would require terracing before hand. Perhaps it's worth noting that long slow irrigation cycles with very low output emitters is appropriate for heavy grades.

I'd be more concerned though with the pumpkins rolling down that mountainside! LOL

Maybe 20 degrees at the least. Yes, I've got system in place to keep the pumpkins horizontal. Even use a level as I add the support boards (vs. styrofoam). I wonder if I can water everyday and not cause excess moisture problems.
