What was the name of that book you've mentioned several times on this site about dirt and building your soil naturaly? Looking for the name of the book and the author. I think I am going to get that book.

Thanks,

For a guy my age it takes a lot of guts and faith to follow the authors simple and direct approach to better soil. I grew up right in the middle of the synthetic pill fixen wizzarderly hay day. I watched and still do as I see some horrible practices continued. I am pleased to see great gains in healthy patch direction by large and small growers alike. One might say the worm has turned.

Hey Doc!! I just ordered a copy as well...I can't agree with you more. I've seen the effects on the plants from compost and nothing can come close to the results. We have chickens and turkeys and a rabbit (and now horses) contributing to the pile...along with grass trimmings, coffee grounds, etc. Iv'e never seen such huge, dark green leaves on my squash plants!
