I use granular muriate of potash (0-0-60), but even if dissolved in water it is definitely NOT for foliar feeding. It BURNS real quick. It is likely that powdered potash to do the same. I would not use it as a foliar feed unless it is a soluble fertilizer that is intened for foliar feeding. An example would be water soluble 5-10-40 from Age Old Organics; although I have never used it, it is intended to be used as a foliar feed. --Bruiser

I have difficulty applying my granular 0-0-60 because the leavwes catch it all. Even with small piles on teh leaves I see evidence of burning.

I use 0-0-44 water soluble from a local dealer without problems & mix in some liquid fish.
