I saw a PBS or HGTV show that featured a spot on these folks once. But I don't think I taped it.

Look at the links area. One of them is the now only partially working INVAM site that gained noteriety with me when they used to publish the soil inoculant that didn't perform as advertised. The fact that they link that site is reason enough for me to believe these folks are OK. They actually link the non-working section. Which tells me they must have passed with colors. Biy I wish WVU would restore that data.

Steve - you are right this guy was featured in the '02 version of the HGTV garden giants. Giant Cabbages & other veggies.
I believe that there is an older thread on this same topic.

Here is the INVAM site I used to find so usefull.

The section that rated the individual mycorrhizae by manufacturer is gone. They held to the standard that if an inoculum didn't result in at least 30% success, then it got a Failing grade. Better than 31% was passing. It was shocking how many failed. More than 75% failed if memory serves. That was a long time ago. With these folks no longer testing & posting results we have no other means to track efficacy.

Do you think the fact they have 20+ hours of daylight in Alaska during the summer has anything to do with the large size of his fruit? I sure do. Sounds like just another fertilizer. There are no magic fertilizers folks. There are no short-cuts.

Do you notice any crops they don't grow because they can't?
