I've been using the 8mil drip tape for years. Has anyone used the 6mil? I'm wondering if it's too lightweight to work around. It doesn't need to survive more than one season.

Andy, this isn’t a definitive answer, just an observation. In my area, some of the commercial onion growers use 6mil. Driving by with the correct light, there are always visible (small) streams shooting up. That’s with relatively low foot traffic. Definitely not an apples to apples comparison, but something to think about.

I'm bumping this up because I'm looking at setting up a drip system for my garden area next year and will probably get the Toro...but I'm a little confused on how to run it because the drip line is 5/8...and so that means the trunk line needs to be 3/4? Reason I ask is because I'm not seeing many products in that size.
