I found this at a customer's garden center today. It is one part of an organic four part lawn program from Safer, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Woodstream Corporation. Step 3 is labeled as a soil stimulator. It is basically lime that is innoculated with the same bacteria we offer (ProMax) that is supplied by Organica. I saw potential for our uses & grabbed a bag.

Has anyone used this or a similar product?

Together, the microbial component and the calcium produce an improved soil environment and stronger plant development. It is ideal for all plant types including turf, annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, herbs, roses, and vegetables.

Sprinkle 1/2 lb. per 100 sq. ft. (10´ x 10´) over the soil surface every 4 weeks during the growing season. Apply water to soil to activate the product.
