Its amazing to me that I can apply phosphorous generously and get very little response. I think it gets bound in the soil quickly, and my plants only get what the soil biology is willing to unlock. I think the cold soils/ cold rain/ lack of summer rain and low ph here in the Pacific Northwest make this a regional problem.
