Has anybody ever used it? I am curious about this stuff. It is not described as an organic garden additive, but the description of how it works makes you wonder.

Here's a quote from their flier... "VF-11 is a 'health builder'!!! It strengthens the immune system. It also creates a perfect pH....... so mildew and fungal diseases cannot take hold. A hose end sprayer with a dial is ideal for outdoor folier feeding..... just 'wet down' the leaves weekly, and you're fertilized. it's that easy to have a Garden Beyond Your Wildest Dreams!"

guaranteed analysis is .15-.85-.55. its supposed to have trace elements added: iron, manganese, copper, zinc, boron, molybdenum, calcium and magnesium.

Its sold everywhere in California, I've met people who say "its the only thing I use to fertilize my plants," but I don't know anything aobut it other than what I've written here. I am leery of things people claim to be "fix-all" (my mother-in-law thinks oregano oil will cure everything from pimples to black widow bites).

does anybody know what is actually in this stuff?

Persionally 15-85-55 in my experience is TOO strong for this early, i wouldnt apply that stuff till the fruits are set and if i did apply it .... it would be a VERY weak solution.

mind you i'm not very experienced others will probably know better but from what i know those last 2 numbers are kinda on the high side to be adding to plants this early in the season

Uh, Dave....read those numbers again. It's .15-.85-.55, not 15-85-55. Those numbers are all less than 1.0

Well, if no one's tried it, I guess I can be the first. The description sounds like it works just like aerobic compost tea mixed with liquid kelp, even though the solution is clear. It has an interesting smell that is nothing like compost tea, too. I'll try it on one of my plants in an isolated area of my patch.

I'll check back in a couple of months to let yall know about it... if you're real interested, you better remind me, cuz I have a tendency to forget to communicate things like this...
