Jake...the link above, taunton.com, is a good place to start. I use the method exactly as they have described and am completely happy with my compost tea brews. They seem to have a positive effect on the plant after application. I've also noticed less pest problems since using this method.

TheByrd, we make our aerobic tea in five gallon buckets with worm castings/compost tied up in old panty hose, seaweed concentrate, a splash of fish emulsion, and 3 table spoons of molasses, sometimes we add a little Epsom salt for magnesium and a little Comfrey. Bubble it for 72 hours and foiliar spray/drench. We are trying to stay 100% organic this season so far the plants are very healthy.

Gad's That sounds like it is pretty close to my home made brew. I let it brew only about 48 hours before use. Using it for all my garden plants now.
