I would like to know with the pics I posted on my diary if I have overfert damage. This is just a repost of what I put in my diary.

Is this over fertilization?

Well, Here is my 353 with the same exact whitening of the leaf tips as the 75. I don't have a pic of the 75 (my main plant) so I am showing you this to give you all an idea of what is going on. It seems the 75 is more sensitive to what I am putting on them for fert than my 353. I think it is just something I gotta recognize.

The 75 has the tips of new growth as white. I know it is not sun/heat damage because that would have been happening earlier. I wonder if this is still the after-effects of the OD of liquid calcium nitrate. The leaves on the 75 are stunted (still new growth however with vine coming in also) and one new leaf is even stunted on one side. Just like a bed sheet the leaves are curling up at the edges. The damage I mentioned last couple of posts is still there and a bit worse.

Day after I discovered this damage (16 Jun) I rinsed off all my leaves and on the 18th I thoroughly soaked the soil to eliminate possible over fertilizing from that end also. I guess I will just have to see if this bugger gets better but I thought it would only be the leaves that were initially coated would be damaged and not new ones. Luckily there has been no complete bud damage and the plant does grow. I can't wait to see if the next few leaves are also damaged. This will take a day or two.

On the 353 I foliar fed the plant with Ca nitrate (more dilute), fish and seaweed emulsion all in a compost tea solution. This has burned the new growth also. I will have to watch my concentrations still. This stuff is strong!

Thanks all!

I took another look at your pics. yes it's over Fert.

Make sure they have their Nitro and wait it out.

They should get better after a few leafs.

Just try not to give them any more Ca Nitrate for some time, looks like they got all they need.

I would say in your case the Foliar feed is doing more bad then good, cut all of it out untill that plant is bigger and stronger.
start feeding the roots half dose of what you have been feeding them, they are still young, a little goes a long ways.

Be very Carefull with the Foliar, you burn that tip off and your season's over.

Best of luck and I hope you like your new seeds :)

Thanks Jeff!

I very much appreciate the seeds...but it only makes it harder to decide what I will grow for next year.
