This is my first post so I hope this will be helpful: ;)

We have a month old pumpkin with a combined measurement of 206" (88 circ 59 over the top and 59 stem to blossom). I am unsure whether we can expect continued active (quick) growth from it or not. We also have a 2 week old pumpkin about the size of a basketball and growing quickly. We have been feeding the plant with 20-20-20, fish emulsion, seaweed. I read that for rapid growth the plant should also receive high rates of Potash. Is it too early for this to be done. You are the experts... what would you do??? THANKS FOR ANY HELP!!! :::)))

Hi Santa! Your pumpkin has roughly 90 days from pollination to end.During this period it needs 3# of nitrogen,but not all at once! The fertilizer you are using is 20% nitrogen so you must figure out total of nitrogen you should be feeding. I am giving my pumpkins 1/3 potassium nitrate now,but will double up on potass. in late July/early August. September is a slow month for growth so don't overdo fertilizer then!
