I am a Director of Community Relations for a non-profit blood bank in Bakersfield, CA. I am looking for a grower in Calif, who would be willing to donate 200 pumpkins for our annual "Give a Pint, Pick a Pumpkin" blood drive to be held Oct 18, 2003. It is Houchin Community Blood Bank, a non-profit, which supplies blood to all of Kern Co. I would appreciate any help.

My name is Jim Kern and I am a school teacher in Malibu CA. At our school we are growing hundreds of pumpkins, maybe thousands !! We may be able to fill your order. I used to know Victoria Houchin when I lived in Stockton back in '97. Tell her an old friend said to send a truck down to Malibu and we'll give her some pumpkins.......
