Pumpkinpalooza is the final farmers market of the season at Chesterton's European Market in Chesterton, Indiana. Last year we asked John Barenie and his giant pumpkin to be present at the event. He kindly accepted and was loved by kids and adults alike. This year we would like to get as many giant pumpkins as possible. The event is an harvest celebration and the giant pumpkins fit in with the theme so well. The town can help unload them from trucks and we would like the growers to stick around to talk to people about how those pumpkins got so big.
