Im in zone 6 and I wanted to know what can be planted now? Me and my dad were arguing and he told me that all you can really plant right now is onions....

I am in 6A and I have Onions, potatoes, peas, Broccoli, and cabbage in the garden right now. Most lettuce can also be planted as well as radishes and beets. Brussel sprouts should already be in, but they are better off going in come fall. I cover my broccoli and cabbage with milk jugs with the bottoms cut off on nights when the temp nears freezing. Peas love cool weather and will take a frost as long as it's not real hard. I'm not sure where Newville is, but I am 40 miles due west of Pittsburgh.
