What insecticide is best for long term control of adult Japanese beetles on roses, etc? How often do you have to spray to keep under control?

Thanks,
Chris

The best thing to do is stop them in there tracks as grubs. Grub-Ex with Merit in it. Or better yet "Milky Spore Disease" to actually target the grubs. I would be giving my non edible plants a good systemic insecticide. They have several out there for roses, and ornamentals. If not Sevin will kill them dead also. We had chickens for several years so they knocked the population way down. This year with out the chickens we are seeing alot of cutworms :(
