So as I finished up morning AG pollination routine I noticed 1/2 dozen female zuc flowers waiting for some attention and no male zuc's in sight! Couldn't resist dabbing them all with leftover AG pollen. Anyone know if the cross is viable or have I just created a mutant strain?

I'd have to say it worked pretty good, seeing as how many aborts on subsequent fruit were counted, that didn't get dabbed with AG pollen. Bee count has been way down this year for some reason. Not very scientific by any means, but fun trying. Igot at least 4 for six of those initial zuc's!

Bee count is down do to a parisite that is killing them off. It plants itself behind the head of the bee and works its way into it then kills it.
