Me and my grandpa decided to plant some apple seeds just for the heck of it and they sprouted. So we decided to try some pair tree seeds. Any help would be appreciated, because we dont know what were doing.

basically apple trees are generally not grown from seed they are usually grown from grafted rootstocks, the rootstock generally controlls the over-all height of the tree and the scion or cultivar which controls what type of fruit the tree will produce, so seeds planted from apples generally will produce sub-par fruit and not the same type of fruit that the seed came from, apple trees generally need to recieve pollen from another apple variety to produce fruit pears are somewhat simular in their needs to cross pollinate with another pear variety however this is not always the case with some varieties of pears.
