We get lots of compliments on the Giant Red Amaranth. Sunflowers are also doing great. To hot to set a marrow. For the 1st time ever I have watermelons...

The red amaranth hasn't produced much for me this year. I hope to have a very large, wild variety of Amaranth that isn't as pretty, but gets much taller.

So far, my marrows have been tanking this year because of the nearly 100 degree weather we've been having lately.

How about the corn? At least for me, the major growth isn't until the month of August. That is when it really takes off and starts growing at 4-6 inches a day.

I also received several varieties of sorghum this year, but, so far, they haven't done much. They may just need a bit more time than the corn.

I have a few marrow that were pollinated is the last week. The plants are looking real good.

I am also growing the Craven sunflower which are doing well despite the wind beating up on em.

The cushaws are doing very well too and the giant radishes are coming along pretty well.

SUnflowers are doing ok for now, nothing spectaculer...I too have a watermelon set for the first time in my life :) and the giant cantelopes are blossoming as well!
