Engel's Great Pumpkins and Carvings

Menomonie, WI (mail@gr8pumpkin.net)

We order mostly from Johnny's, Jungs, and Pinetree seeds. What other good ones are out there...I am looking for one that has a large variety of pumpkins, ornamentals, and squash.

www.heirloomacresseeds.com Super low shipping costs and very friendly people to deal with! They have very low prices and I have always recieved the highest quality seeds from them. It's a family run business. At least check it out!

I have used PineTree and Seed Savers with success. This sounds funny, but for peppers, I order though Totally Tomatoes.

Shannon I apologize for stepping on your thread. I asked for good seed company for exotic flowers in the next thread. Similar question to what you asked here. I do apologize. I will try to be more careful next time. Jerry

Shannon, thanks. We are looking for exotic flowers for our flower garden. Mostly flower seeds from foreign countries. Flowers can be perrenial or annuals. We are just looking for exotic or rare seeds. We have found plenty for veggies at amishlandseeds.com/rare_seeds.htm and also rareseeds.com
Thanks

Shannon rareseeds.com have 20 or so pumpkins, some even so different they are blue(Marina di Chioggia) or black(black thai). Many interesting but I just do not have that much room. Many squash with many colors.

I prefer the UK companies to the USA when looking for genetics for large plants. Three great companies that have some interesting material

http://www.mammothonion.co.uk/
http://www.medwynsofanglesey.co.uk/
http://www.exhibition-seeds.co.uk/

Another great website to gain access to seeds you can't find in the USA is through:

http://www.eseeds.com/

which is an international distributor for many companies, most in the UK.

Harris is great for sweet corn as is Stokes. I really like Pinetree seeds in Maine, they have a great selection and the prices are great. If you like to grow a little bit of everything and try alot of new things, pinetree is definitely a good choice.

I placed an order a month ago with www.heirloomacresseeds.com, based on the glowing recommendation here, and it seemed to go smoothly. Now, it would be just great if they would actually send me my seeds. Oh well. You can't have everything I guess.

James I find that true with alot of these small specialty seed companies..eventually they get sent out. If we want odd or unique seeds I guess we have to live with it.

Spudley (Scott)

Are we talking Giants? If so then P&P Seeds ia a great place to start. Later Spudley.
