Thanks to a very generous Canadian grower I will
be growing SkyRocket tomatos this year. Anyone
have any tips or suggestions on growing these.

Thanks LB

Only grow half the number of plants you think you need. They really produce.

LB, I agree with G. here that just don't grow too many (same some seeds for next year) I grew 2 plants on a 12 foot trellis and had more maters than I could deal with and 12' was not high enough. Once they grew to the top of the trellis, then continued on the top and then came back down the other side.

Amazing plants and I hope to be able to get more seeds from Martin or just have to harvest some of my own next year.

Good luck with it....(by the way, most of us are cheering for ole Long Beard to bring the Wiz down to size....so grow a massive pumpkin or 2 as well)

Thanks guys. I was planning on a 12' trellis but
it sounds like I better go a least 15' or higher.

I will go with two plants a home and possibly 2 or
3 at the nursery.

Just to warn you LongBeard they will be the spindliest plants you have ever seen. I threw the 2 I started last year in the compost pile. They were the only plants I grew that at 12" tall needed support, and they were still in a 4" pot. When I say spindly I'm talking thinner than a bamboo skewer main stems. I'm not trying to discourage you from growing them just letting you know they need support very early in their growth.
