I posted this question in the disease section, but have gotten no bites yet, so I'll try it here. I have noticed a fuzzy white spot on one of my lovely leaves! Ick! so I ran right out and bought Daconil. I have a neato little spray bottle, and I want to dose these vines before this stuff takes over. My question is: Do I need to cote the whole plant, top and bottom? If so, how do I get to the innter parts without crusing the vines or compacting the soil? My vines are growing in the narrow walk between my house and the fence, so the area is tight, and the vines are very close together. Advice from the masters? Thanks! PVZ

Yes, coat the plant as much as possible. Many people lay down boards to help prevent compacting the soil. In a tight area such as yours, there may not be a very easy way to gain access to the plant. Next year keep this in mind when you train your vines & try to give yourself an access point.
