I have never seen this before, but will try and post a pic of it soonly. From the tassles at the top of a stalk of field corn, I found an ear growing, with no leaves around it. I understand this is a major malfunction, just curious if anyone else has ever seen this??? Peace, Wayne

I saw an entire field of corn last year like this (field corn). Probably 200 acres +-. Just tiny little cobs, but definitely in the tassles.
