When is the best time to harvest the seeds and what is the procedure for drying them (to plant next year)? Do you dry them out like Ag seeds? Thanks

We cover them with a pillow case to keep the bird out. Let them mature, cut the hole head off. hang with a small string to the rafters and replant next year.

Yep..or the Gold Finches have a field day ripping them apart.
